BIO

Hattie is a vocalist and composer based in Brooklyn, New York. Her versatility as a vocalist has allowed her to work with and lead a wide variety of ensembles based in NYC, and led her to perform across the U.S and abroad. She performs, records, and composes in a wide range of styles, including neo-soul, avant-jazz, modern jazz, and pop. In New York City, Hattie performs regularly at varied venues such as Rockwood Music Hall, National Sawdust, and Knitting Factory.

 

In 2018, Hattie led her own jazz quartet in performance at the Bern International Jazz Festival in Switzerland, and in 2019 she formed her new septet - this group can be found performing across NYC.

 

Most recently, Hattie appeared as a featured vocalist in multi instrumentalist/composer/producer Sebastian Zel's score for the film LA PIEL DE AYER (Andrew Garcia) which premiered May 1, 2019 on HBO.
